The G's Fresh organic range O'live has added five new salad and vegetable products.
Baby spinach (200g), wild rocket (90g), mixed baby leaves (250g), brown onions (750g), and leeks (400g) join other products in the range, which was launched in September 2014.
The launch of baby leaf salad packs has been driven by demand for the growing trend of juicing salads and vegetables to boost intake.
To celebrate the launch, O’live teamed up with uber blenders Vitamix to demonstrate the range of smoothies, soups and sauces that can be created with the new lines.
O’live’s distribution channels have started to widen beyond Whole Foods stores to include independent delis, shops and markets in the greater London area.
Jessica Felton-Page, brand manager for O’live, said:“This is an exciting time for O’live. After initial success with Whole Foods, introducing salad mixes was a must for us in terms of offering complete meal solutions for those who seek food that is good for the land, good for the future and good for their families.
The brown onions and leeks were an obvious next step for the brand in terms of being stalwarts of the kitchen and key to meal preparation. Being the grower of these vegetables gives us ultimate control of quality, consistency and provenance.”
The O’live team has plans to engage in more juicing events up and down the country to promote its new lines, as well as running competitions through its Twitter and Facebook accounts.
