Worldwide Fruit will host tours of its state-of-the-art packhouse, as UK’s leading fresh produce event heads to Spalding, Lincolnshire on 5 June
FPJ is partnering with major fruit supplier Worldwide Fruit for Festival of Fresh 2025, as the publication’s flagship event ventures to the vegetable-growing heartland of Lincolnshire for its fourth edition.
Storage and logistics specialist FreshLinc will host the open-air event at its facility in Spalding on Thursday 5 June.
The festival site is just across the road from Worldwide Fruit, which specialises in marketing and distributing apples, avocados, pears and stonefruit.
The supplier, which is one of the biggest in UK fresh produce supply, will host tours of its cutting-edge packhouse, including the Softripe ripening system.
Worldwide Fruit’s reach is vast, and its state-of-the-art facilities are impressive. The business supplies 12 retail customers, sources fruit from over 1,000 growers around the world, and supplies up to two million packs per week.
Festival of Fresh 2025 takes place in a key region for the production of potatoes, brassicas and other vegetables. And event host FreshLinc – itself a leading light in temperature-controlled distribution – is right on the doorstep of a whole host of other major fresh produce companies.
This is Festival of Fresh’s fourth outing, following successful events hosted by Berry Gardens, AMFresh and Nationwide Produce in the past three years.
Visitors can expect fantastic networking opportunities, inspirational speakers, tours and demos, fruit and veg sampling, music, and delicious food and drink.
As in previous years, there will be mix of a hard-hitting conference programme, alongside exhibition stands, and plenty of opportunities to network and share ideas.
FPJ will also unveil the winners of the Festival of Fresh Awards 2025, with more details to be announced soon.
Only a limited number of companies have the opportunity to raise their profile by showcasing their products and services to industry leaders at Festival of Fresh.
