Catering supplier Wild Harvest is undergoing an expansion at its New Covent Garden Market site that will double its capacity.

Construction will complete mid-February and will enable the mushroom and root vegetable specialist to widen its already 1,100-strong restaurant base throughout the UK. The company was also involved in the market’s Root Masterclass with chefs The Grove’s Colin Layfield, Russell Bateman from The Paramount and Ben Tish of the Salt Yard restaurant this week.

“Chefs are really keen to come and see the produce we have,” said Wild Harvest’s Tim Lee.
