Leading market information specialist, TNS, has changed the name of its international suite of consumer panels from Superpanel to Worldpanel.

The company said the renaming strategy reflected the increasingly international nature of its offering, aligning individual country services into a global framework.

Tim Kidd, marketing director of TNS Worldpanel, said: “TNS’s global syndicated offerings have increased dramatically over the last few years; alongside which, client demand for internationally co-ordinated research has become far greater. The time is right for TNS Worldpanel to reflect these factors and move to globally consistent service names, clarifying our international offering.
