Fruit and veg suppliers have the chance to be part of a new advertising campaign that will feature on London’s Underground services ahead of National Vegetarian Week.
Showcasing meat-free products and brands, the campaign is being run by The Vegetarian Society and will be in place for two weeks between 7 and 20 May.
'This is a collective advertising project - and we welcome anyone with a veggie product or service to get in touch and be part of a campaign that will make a bigger splash than individual posters could alone,” said the Vegetarian Society chief executive, Lynne Elliot.
“The tube handles up to five million passenger journeys per day. That's a lot of eyes that could see these posters – show your love for National Vegetarian Week and get your products seen.'
Posters will feature on the stair, lift and escalator panels across the London Underground, and companies and services who would like to get involved should contact the organisation online or by phone.
National Vegetarian Week 2017 included activities such as a school sandwich competition, a film about veggie BBQs, urban community chefs and homemade snack boxes distributed by 16 to 25 year old volunteers to care homes.
