The star of hit kids TV show Lazy Town is to travel to London in the next fortnight to discuss the childhood obesity problem with ministers, freshinfo has learnt.
Magnus Scheving, who plays Sportacus in the series, claimed the Change4Life and 5 A DAY schemes were not working and alternatives were needed.
“David Cameron wanted to do something about the problem when I met him before,” he told freshinfo at Fruit Attraction in Madrid. “I like that he shows interest - that is always the first step.” Scheving, who told Cameron previously that “just talking about obesity, obesity, obesity doesn’t work”, also said he was talking to Asda about the next stage of the in-store Great Stuff Lazy Town campaign.
