Seasonal food company Well Seasoned is on the look out for new suppliers to help it maintain and grow its British-only proposition.
The business produces a range of seasonal pesto, using UK ingredients, which it has developed to complement seasonal eating.
The range changes every three to four months, featuring different UK fresh produce lines. Founder and chief executive, Patrick Tolhurst, said: “As a British seasonal food business we believe that Great Britain’s farmers and producers deserve our support. We’re proud that we know where our ingredients come from and who farmed them. Over the coming seasons we are looking for a number of new, quality suppliers who we can build long term relationships with.”
The firm is particularly interested in growers that can supply its London-based operation with shallots, leeks, kale, onions, chestnuts, redcurrants and wild garlic.
Well Seasoned has won several awards for its products including being named green food supplier of the year in The Grocer Gold Awards this year.
