A new wash for salads launched by BeingOrganic.com not only removes soil from organic produce but can also fight unseen chemicals on non-organic lettuce leaves and tomatoes using natural plant extracts.
Salad Spa from Natural House is certified organic by the Soil Association and the Non-Food Certification Company of the Organic Food Federation, It is also formally approved by the Vegan Society.
“There’s nothing worse than salad that looks like it’s passed its sell-by date,” explained chemist Richard Bence and his wife Helen. “Salad spa allows you to experience your salad, fruit and vegetables in as fresh and vibrant a condition as possible. Simply spray on, count to 10 and rinse away.”
