Danish rose breeder Roses Forever has launched a mini gold rose named Maasland Gold, available for both retailers and growers.
The rose is characterised by large flowers with a light rose scent, a golden colour and dark, shiny leaves.
A company statement said it is “more than delighted” to bring the new gold into the market.
It is particularly suitable for indoor use, but can also be bedded in gardens and in containers. It is winter hardy when planted in the season from May to September.
Retailers can order Maasland Gold through BM Roses in Holland in 12 cm pots, or through Rosa ApS in Denmark in all pot sizes.
Maasland Gold is grown in pot sizes from eight to 15 cm from cuttings.
Roses Forever, a Danish rose breeding company owned by the Eskelund family, also owns the Roses Forever and Infinity mini rose brands.
