The winning products from each category will be entered for the prestigious deliciouslyorkshire Supreme Product 2009-10 and the deliciouslyorkshire Champion for 2009-10. The person who has done the most to promote and/or develop the food and drink industry in the region - will also be announced and new for 2009 is the deliciouslyorkshire award for Outstanding Newcomer.

Prepared vegetable supplier Stuart’s Foods will sponsor the Best use of Regional Produce - Restaurant/Hotel/Pub/Inn category.

Chief executive Jonathan Knight said: “This year’s figures reflect not only the huge ongoing interest in regional food and drink but the innovative producers we enjoy in the region.”
