Pink Lady embarks on UK ad campaign

Apple brand Pink Lady has announced the launch of its first targeted press advertising campaign in the UK for a number of years.

Dubbed "Pink Summer with Pink Lady", the new campaign will feature adverts in a "carefully selected number of women's interest magazines" between July and September, the group revealed.

According to Pink Lady, the target of the campaign is "ABC1 women" with children and disposable income who shop at quality supermarkets and already follow a healthy diet full of fruits and vegetables.

Magazines chosen include SHE, Red, Woman & Home, Psychologies, Hello!, Easy Living, Marie Claire, Good House Keeping and Country Living.

The National Readership Survey estimates the total readership of the campaign at some 15.3 million UK readers.

Pink Lady has also revealed plans to undertake a second campaign in December of this year.
