Pink Lady will support LGBTI Pride events for the fourth year running under a renewal of its partnership with magazine Gay Star News.
The apple brand will be supplied to visitors to the Pride events in London and Manchester this year, and feature a limited edition rainbow sticky label.
It follows Pink Lady’s involvement with Gay Star News’ digital Pride event earlier this year, which involved a beach disco on London’s South Bank.
“The special-edition rainbow sticker is a great addition; there are still only a select few brands who proudly show their support of the LGBTI community and Pink Lady are certainly at the forefront,” said Gay Star News editor, Tris Reid-Smith.
“It’s great to have Pink Lady’s support for another year – the apples in our Pride bags always go down a storm.'
Chief marketing officer at Coregeo, Michelle Toft, said: “Pink Lady is delighted to have developed such a strong partnership with Gay Star News over the past four years. We’re so thrilled to be involved in Pride for another year, and the rainbow sticker is the perfect way to cement our position as an inclusive brand.”
London Pride takes place on 8 July, and Manchester Pride takes place on 26 August.
