Potato supplier Greenvale has secured deals with Ocado and Amazon for its branded GreenVale Farm Fresh potatoes.
The new listings mean the brand is now available online as well as in store at Tesco and Booths.
Head of marketing for Greenvale Leon Mundey said the new listings with Ocado and Amazon are extremely exciting as they will open the brand up to new consumers.
“Developing a brand from scratch has been hard work but rewarding. We were determined to create something that would grow the total category, rather than just steal share, and GreenVale Farm Fresh is achieving this. It’s satisfying to see the hard work all paying off as sales continue to grow and more customers take on the brand,” he said.
GreenVale Farm Fresh was launched exclusively at Tesco in 2012 and was credited with bringing new shoppers into the retailer’s potato category. It uses the Jelly variety which is exclusive to Greenvale.
