Fresh produce suppliers Norman Collett and Minor, Weir and Willis (MWW) have been named in the Telegraph 1000.
The list, compiled by the Daily Telegraph, recognises 1,000 mid-sized companies that have weathered the economic storm and “are set to be the foundation of the UK’s recovery”.
The snapshot focuses on companies and partnerships with sales of between £5 million and £500m. The Telegraph listed MWW sales as £97m, while Norman Collett’s figures were not included in the table.
Norman Collett marketing consultant Sarah Calcutt told FPJ: “We are delighted to be included and it’s a recognition of our strategy to stick with doing what we do well. We have continued to be loyal to growers who have been loyal to us.”
Collett has a longstanding partnership with co-operative Mid Kent Growers.
