MySupermarket.co.uk has become the first grocery website to introduce online video to communicate brand messages.

Site-users now have the ability to interact with video, providing supermarket suppliers with the added value of online measurement and accountability and enabling brands to reach specific target audiences of online shoppers at Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda and Ocado.

Shoppers can view ads online and add the products featured to their trolleys with a click of a button. This also means advertisers can see the direct impact of their advertisement.

It also gives advertisers the opportunity to engage with shoppers by allowing them to sponsor key events and calendar hooks throughout the year such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Back-to-School and Christmas.
