The seminar will focus on the opportunities and challenges facing the regional food and drink industry.
Lord Haskins has recently completed a report on policy delivery in rural England and will be joined by other speakers form the industry. Sainsbury’s trading director Stephen Nelson, who oversees all aspects of the supermarket group’s trading functions, in particular quality, innovation and procurement, will be also be presenting as will S Jeremy Pope OBE, the chairman of Milk Link, responsible for the regional implementation of the Curry recommendations. At the end of the afternoon session, there will be a speaker's panel providing seminar attendees the opportunity to ask the speakers questions relating to the food and drinks industry.
The seminar will be held on the afternoon of June 30 at the Royal Clarence Hotel, Exeter and will be followed by a drinks reception from 6-7pm.
