The new trailer was to be launched today

A high profile brand launch for one of fresh produce’s most recognised names has had to be cancelled due to theft.

Mehadrin Tnuport Export (Mtex) had to cancel the launch of the first official new Jaffa trailer, which was to take place today in Barendrecht in the Netherlands.

On the night of 23 April, two brand new trailer-truck combinations were stolen from the closed parking lot of Polar-Trans in Berlin, one of which was the new Jaffa vehicle.

This was the second time Mtex had been hit within a week, with a Scania truck loaded with the company’s carrots stolen from a car park in Antwerp.

If anyone discovers the Jaffa trailer’s whereabouts they are urged to contact the local police immediately and also Sander Venema at Mtex.
