The industry got behind this year's Fruity Friday - now for 2005

World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF UK), is calling on fresh produce companies and retailers to lead the way and help support Fruity Friday next year - a national awareness campaign to promote the importance of healthy diets and lifestyles in the prevention of cancer.

Fruity Friday on May 13, 2005 is the highlight of WCRF UK’s Cancer Prevention Week running from May 9th-15 next year, and encourages people to eat more fruit as part of a healthier 5-a-day diet.
