Hargreaves Plants is to hold its 3rd annual seminar in Maidstone, Kent on July 29. The keynote paper is entitled The Future of British agriculture and Horticulture and will be presented by MP John Hayes.
Rupert Hargreaves, director of Hargreaves Plants, said: 'We are proud to present such a range of high quality speakers and topics to an audience of industry leaders. This year, as previously, we are completely over subscribed. More than 150 delegates from a total of 12 countries will be present and it will be excellent to hear Hayes, as shadow minister, inspire UK members of the audience over the exciting prospects for future soft fruit production.' Hayes added: 'I am very pleased to be travelling to Kent to meet up with leaders in the soft fruit industry. Expansion in soft fruit production is most encouraging and it is one important segment in the UK food supply chain that looks set to have a bright future.'
