Association members on their most recent trip

The Speciality Produce Growers Association has changed its name to The Baby Leaf Growers Association to better reflect the activity of its members.

The group, which meets twice a year with the Horticultural Development Company to direct expenditure of the HDC levy, helps to co-ordinate a multitude of research projects, from herbicide work to EAMU data generation.

The meetings are usually arranged alongside a visit to either a chemical or seed company so that members can also learn about the work of the wider industry, and the association's most recent visit was to Tozer Seeds Spinach and Rocket Trials.
