Sainsbury's has won five awards, including Supermarket of the Year for the fifth year running, at this year's 2012 Retail Industry Awards.
The retail giant also won Convenience Store of the Year, and Fresh Flower Supermarket of the Year, in a night which saw Sainsbury's product teams receive recognition across the board.
"We are extremely proud of our strong relationship with growers and to be recognised for this with a Fresh Flower Supermarket award is a great accolade," said Jasmine Scriminger, floral buyer at Sainsbury's.
The supermarket also won Most Sustainable Retailer of the Year. Sainsbury's has invested in new one-stop recycling facilities at its stores in recent months, establishing plans for geothermal heat pump technology at 100 outlets and installing 70,000 solar panels at 169 of its retail units.
