SAI hopes the new mark will be a sign of quality

SAI Global/EFSIS has launched a new Food StandardsMark logo to reflect its brand transition into SAI Global replace the old EFSIS logo.

Paul Ruocco, marketing and new market development director at SAI Global, said the new logo would reflect the transition and been seen as a sign of quality.

“As we continue our brand transition into SAI Global, it is now time to incorporate the SAI Global StandardsMark as the mark of assurance within the food industry,” he said.

“The EFSIS logo has long been seen as the mark of quality, and I am sure that the new logo device will enjoy even more recognition within the food industry and beyond.”

“We are making the new logo available to all our clients, giving them the opportunity to publicise their certification, and a large number have already begun to use the mark on their vehicles, stationery and other publicity material.”

Dominos Pizza will be one of SAI’s first customers to carry the logo on all lorries in the UK and Ireland.

Troy Faulkner, Domino's Pizza commissary operations manager, said: “The term 'Food Safety' in the logo says it all to our consumers.

“The new logo will mean more to our clientele as they will understand that having certification through SAI Global/EFSIS is about achieving food safety.”
