Dutch organics specialist Eosta has scooped the Riverford Organic Vegetables Service award.
Eosta is a large supplier of organic fruit and greenhouse vegetables to Riverford, which packs the produce for its organic box scheme, delivering more than 35,000 boxes a week to front doors up and down the country.
“Eosta and the Nature and More Trace-and-Tell system fits perfectly with the message that Riverford would like to portray with its box scheme,” said Eosta. “The Nature and More system provides clear information about the organic farmers and growers, their production methods and the way they treat their personnel and the environment. It gives the grower a face and allows the consumer to get a much clearer insight regarding the added benefits of organic farming.”
Nature and More was also recently in the news for publication of its CO2 values, and a nomination for the Fresh and Cash Award.
