Acti-Snack flags up its health credentials 

Dried fruit and nut brand Acti-Snack has seen value sales rise by over 30 per cent during the last year as popularity for healthy snacking continues to soar.

Marketed as a gluten-free sports nutrition product, Acti-Snack has three flavours and is made from natural ingredients with no added salt, sugar or additives. It is listed at Tesco, Spar and SuperValu across the UK and online at Ocado.

The growth in its year on year value outperforms the overall dried fruit and nuts category, which grew by 20 per cent in the last year, the company said.

Marketing manager Andrea Cahill said: “ As consumers become more discerning and savvy in terms of what they’re putting in their bodies, clear and transparent labelling is more important than ever before.

“With no artificial additives, the Acti-Snack range ticks the box for those looking to limit the number of artificial ingredients they add to their diet and increase their natural ingredient intake.”
