Carrots will make their debut at the BBC Good Food Show as part of the Red Tractor Stand, promoting British food and farming, from November 22-26.

As part of the campaign, Great British Carrots, launched this year, to get people to crunch more carrots. At Birmingham's NEC, the public will be given the opportunity to speak to farmers directly, with around a dozen major carrot growers from around the country due to attend the show to help man the stand.

TV chef Rachel Green will demonstrate lots of delicious recipes using carrots in the Great British Food Theatre every day of the show, creating fantastic dishes such as Pan Fried Turkey with Carrots, Lime and Ginger, Beef Stir Fry with Crispy Carrots and even a quick Carrot Christmas Pudding, which showcase perfectly the versatility of this wonderful root vegetable.
