Talented tot Harriet Giddings scooped top prize in a national competition, run by Le Crunch apples, to encourage youngsters to take an interest in sport and healthy eating.
The school girl, from Elmlea Junior School in Westbury-on-Trym, designed a Delicious Ballerina apple model, which beat off stiff competition from more than 600 other entries to win £1,000 for her school and a holiday for her family to Disneyland Paris.
To celebrate the win, Le Crunch held a special apple day of healthy food and fitness, with plenty of fun and games for Harriet, pictured, and her classmates. This kicked off in the morning, when Nina Fox from Le Crunch presented Harriet and headteacher Claire Gallers with their prizes. The £1,000 will be spent on a friendship bench for the playground.
