Andalusia launches Lola

Andalusia’s supply chain body Hortyfruta has unveiled new brand imagery to identify produce from the region.

In striking red and yellow livery, Lola will feature on produce and packaging from the region to help them stand out.

According to Hortyfruta, Lola is one of the largest fresh produce labels in the world in terms of volume and variety, as all its members can use the marque on produce conforming to the regional executive’s standards for integrated production and biological control.

Hortyfruta manager María José Pardo said: “We have been improving our image abroad with the widespread implementation of integrated crop management and biological control techniques, and so the next step is to position ourselves through a brand.”
