Amazon Fresh has added a range of products from northern retailer Booths in a move that expands its branded grocery portfolio.
Booths joins fellow retailers Morrisons and Whole Foods Market with its listing at the online giant, which also stocks a range of local and artisan food producers, alongside produce brands such as BerryWorld and O’Live.
The move is also the first time a significant number of Booths products have been sold online - they were previously only available at the chain’s 28 stores across the north of England.
“We know customers love high quality ready meals, delicatessen and produce, and with Booths’ rich history and well-deserved reputation for providing the very best food, we think people across London and the South East will love what Booths has to offer,” said Amazon Fresh International vice president, Ajay Kavan.
“Our customers tell us they look for choice, value and convenience from Amazon Fresh. That’s why we’ve added Booths to our great selection of products from Morrisons and Whole Foods Market as well as local shops and big name brands, brought together with same day delivery and the everyday low prices that Amazon is known for.”
Booths chairman and CEO Edwin Booth said: “Booths has always been a northern secret, but now our range of exceptional products will be available every day to a wide range of shoppers.”
Amazon Fresh serves customers in 302 postcodes across London, Surrey, Hampshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.
