Growers and suppliers of Yorkshire products will soon be able to benefit from a new regional identity for their produce. Deliciouslyorkshire has been designed to identify and promote the region’s best quality food and drink.
Grower Fruit of the Earth, a supplier of seasonal vegetables, salads, fruits and herbs, Scarborough-wholesaler Stuart’s Food and grower Farmer’s Cart are all members of the group.This means they have to adhere to strict quality and other specifications laid down by the brand custodian - the Regional Food Group for Yorkshire and Humber - in order to use the marque on their produce. Their products must also have a point of difference and be produced locally.
The brand is being launched at the Food & Drink Expo at Birmingham’s NEC on March 14-17.
