Martin Judd has joined the Regional Food Group for Yorkshire and Humber (RFG) as learning and development adviser.
Judd will be responsible for supporting and developing the Managed Online Learning Environment (MOLE) internet platform and managing the dedicated website www.rfgmole.co.uk.
MOLE helps staff train on-the-job and receive formal qualifications. Bespoke modules, in areas such as food hygiene and health and safety can be designed to meet the requirements of different companies using the system.
Judd previously worked for five years at North Yorkshire County Council, helping young children with sensory impairment to access the curriculum using technology. In addition, he brings experience of working in the engineering department at Guinness and the purchasing team at Kraft.
Judd said: “I am delighted to be joining the Regional Food Group, developing Yorkshire and Humber’s highly acclaimed and significant food and drink industry.
“It is very rewarding to offer organisations a tangible, cost effective way to improve immediately the efficiency of their business and I look forward to working with many members and organisations over the coming years.”
