Following the announcement the WUWM effectively ends it existence as an associated body operating within the umbrella of the International Union of Local Authorities Network (IULA).
WUWM Chairman, Marc Spielrein emphasised the role wholesale markets must play to ensure availability and distribution of quality fresh food products at competitive prices throughout the international community.
The union is engaged in all activities in the field of wholesale markets. It also develops relationships with other relevant market associations.
