Both the European Union and the US have agreed to open to the public dispute settlement hearings over the EU banana regime at the World Trade Organistion in Geneva on November 6-7. There are 83 places at the hearings in the gallery above the meeting room, which are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors must pre-register with either the European Commission or the US Trade Representative’s office.
