Rob Mears has left his position as chief executive officer of Canterbury-based fruit supplier Worldwide Fruit (WWF) with immediate effect.
Robert Balicki, chairman of WWF, said: “Following a review by the Board, Rob Mears has immediately relinquished his position as ceo of Worldwide Fruit. In the interim, until a new ceo is appointed, the Board has asked me to take over the day-to-day running of the company.
“I would like to thank Rob for his contribution to Worldwide Fruit and wish him well for the future”
