With the country gripped by World Cup fever and England’s crunch encounter against Germany looming, Lincolnshire brassica specialist TH Clements have come up with a unique way to back the team.
Limited edition World Cup Cauli hit retailers’ shelves this weekend, in time for
Sunday’s highly anticipated fixture.
TH Clements managing director Chris Gedney said: “The whole country is buzzing with excitement and Sunday cannot come soon enough.
“We wanted to show our support to the England team and what better way than with a World Cup cauliflower.
“With the recent press surrounding the product - we saw the World Cup Cauli as the ideal opportunity to reinvigorate interest in one of the most traditional English vegetables.”
The current television advertisement for Tesco stores features a cauliflower being used as a makeshift football - alongside England midfield hero Frank Lampard.
The World Cup Cauli hits shelves this weekend priced a 87p.
