Robin Whitbread, the former J Sainsbury plc and Somerfield executive, has resurfaced as a non-executive director of Jessops PLC, the photographic retailer.
He will take up the position of commercial director on July 3.
Well known to the fruit trade, Whitbread, will be responsible for day to day commercial operations, including stores, buying, marketing and developing and printing (D&P).
