A fruit and veg business in the Bristol wholesale market catchment area has announced its closure after struggling to maintain footfall.
Fabulous Fruit and Veg, in Burnham-on-Sea on the west coast, announced the closure on their Facebook page yesterday (2 March).
A spokesperson said: 'It is with a heavy heart that we have had to take the decision to close Fabulous Fruit and Veg.
'We have struggled to get the footfall in College Street and we could not see it improving in the next three months so we have taken the decision to close as of tomorrow evening.
'We have several items for sale such as tills and scales, as well as all the baskets etc.”
The spokesperson suggested there may be new ventures in the future, but did not provide further details.
