A collaborative open day between the HDRA organic weed management project and Carrot will take place on February 18 at Holme Lacy College.

The event aims to give farmers and growers the opportunity to discuss management issues in the context of the whole farming system.

The day will begin with an introduction to the organic weed management project and Carrot followed by a farm walk around Holme Lacy. The day will also include discussion groups on how to improve weed management and how research can help.

The organic weed management project, which is funded by Defra, is working closely with farmers and growers to address their needs through a gathering of weed information and research trials.
