Exotic produce supplier Wealmoor has hosted a visit from business minister Sajid Javid and local MP Nadhim Zahawi to showcase the company’s international and UK operations.
The tour of Wealmoor’s Atherstone-upon-Stour headquarters included talks about the company’s future plans, and its strategy for innovation and training.
Chief executive Avnish Malde said: “We were delighted to have hosted the Secretary of State and Mr Zahawi and to present them with our important work and future plans. The business positively impacts thousands of lives both overseas and here in the UK, and recognises that there has to be a collaborative approach with all stakeholders to ensure sustainability.
“Our hope is that visits such as this raise greater awareness of our commitments and achievements to both the government and wider business community and in turn garner support for our ongoing projects and vision.”
