Warwick University will be holding its final workshop from the project ‘The role of Regulation in Developing Biological Alternatives to Pesticides’, using the event as an opportunity to present feedback from the findings to scientists and practitioners on October 31.

The meeting will form part of an interdisciplinary research project with Warwick HRI, Politics and International Studies at Warwick University on the environmental and regulatory sustainability of biopesticides as alternatives to chemical pesticides in the food chain.

Speakers will include Professor Wyn Grant and Dr. Dave Chandler of Warwick University, Don Edgecomb of Agraquest, Peter C. Leendertse of CLM, and Richard Davies from PSD.

They will be giving presentations on subjects including the environmental and regulatory sustainability of biopesticides, the Agraquest Pipeline - biological and natural based technologies, natural pesticide experiences from the Netherlands, and the biopesticide scheme.

BASIS points will be awarded at the event, which charges a £35 per person registration fee that includes lunch.
