Five members of staff are celebrating over 100 years of working for Vitacress.

They enjoyed a celebratory lunch at the Bourne Valley Inn, St Mary Bourne with their chosen guests and all the Vitacress board of directors. They were all presented with a gift of their choice from Vitacress in recognition of their loyal and valued service to the company.

Three members of staff joined the company in 1983: Steve Rothwell, production and technical director; Pat Neale, foreman Doddings Farm, Dorset; and Robert Gibbs, manager Hampshire Watercress. Jean Garrod, low-risk co-ordinator, started working for Vitacress several years earlier with career breaks, but has been in continuous service since 1983. David Thackray, IT manager, joined in 1984.
