Nearly 250,000 people from 78 countries have already registered to "visit" the first-ever Internet agricultural exhibition, now under final construction, which will open its gates through the Internet on July 15. According to the London-based headquarters of the virtual agricultural fair, it attracted individuals, public and private as well as government agencies and research institutes from Syria, Saudi-Arabia, Albania, Pakistan, USA, Latin America, and from many countries throughout Europe.

The initiators and organisers of the Internet agricultural exhibition said that 150 companies from around the world will participate in the fair, among them several leading agri-industries, which will exhibit a wide range of products, from irrigation equipment, fertilisers, insecticides, greenhouses, modern open-field and greenhouse cultivation systems and post-harvest technologies; food manufacturers, and companies engaged in planning and constructing agricultural development projects.

The exhibition will be a replica of a regular, real fair, with booths and sales representatives who will be able to communicate with the visitors using a special software. At this stage, the Internet site provides background information as well a simulated visit in the exhibition. Entry fee has been set at US$10 enabling ticket holders free entries for the entire duration of the fair.
