WS van Walt Meijer is to leave The Greenery management team following a disagreement over the implementation of a new strategy.

The Greenery said it regreted the departure of Van Walt Meijer and thanked him for his contriburion and initiatives.

Van Walt Meijer was formerly employed by Unilever and joined The Greenery last year as CEO, to further professionalise the company and integrate growers.

Following his appointment in August last year, Van Walt Meijer actively started formulating a new strategy, adapting the company’s organisation from business units to a single concern. Cees de Wit has been appointed interim CEO of The Greenery.
