The two partners in seed potato transnational Van Rijn-KWS BV have agreed that KWS will take over Van Rijn’s 50 per cent stake from 1 April.
KWS will intensify its activities in the breeding, production and marketing of seed potatoes and form a 100 per cent subsidiary, KWS Potato BV, based at Emmeloord in the Netherlands.
Meanwhile, Van Rijn will concentrate its activities on the core business of production, storage, logistics and trading.
