UK prepared potato specialist Vale’s Fresh is promoting its diced potatoes as ideal ingredients for summer salads and side dishes.

The company, part of Greenvale AP, has worked with food writer and broadcaster Roz Denny to develop two potato-based recipes: barbecue potato salad and spicy bombay potatoes.

Vale’s Fresh Diced Potatoes are 100 per cent British, natural and, as they are part-cooked, they are easy and convenient to use: they just need finishing off to serve, by boiling, steaming or roasting.

Supplied chilled in a choice of catering packs, they also have a significantly longer shelf life than many of their competitors - 28 days, compared to just 14 for imported products that dominate the catering market.

The diced potatoes are supplied in catering packs of 4kg, or boxes containing five 2kg packs.
