The British strawberry season has arrived and 2011 is set to deliver one of the biggest and best crops ever.
To make the most of the season, the Seasonal Berries campaign has called on the services of Valentine Warner, author of What to Eat Now and a self-described “strawberry-loving cook” to provide some inspiring recipes.
Warner has created two “quintessentially English” desserts to celebrate the start of the season - a berry summer pudding and a “wonderfully decadent” strawberry and milk jelly, the campaign revealed.
