Univeg will be putting the focus on sustainability and showcasing its new UK arm Univeg Direct UK at Fruit Logistica.

The company will promote the various technologies it uses for quality management, food safety and traceability, all of which contribute to its work towards sustainable supply solutions.

Univeg Direct UK was set up in 2008 with a mission to reduce costs by “facilitating direct interaction between Univeg farms and customers” and simplifying the value chain from seed to sale.

Vertical integration, through the group’s worldwide growing, packing, shipping, marketing and distribution channels, allows Univeg Direct UK control over all aspects of the chain, enabling the company to tailor its offer to individual clients.
