The CHA stand aims to bring a variety of businesses to the event who will provide innovation and inspiration to growers and suppliers from around the world.

Fruit Logistica, which takes place from 5-7 February in Berlin, attracts 2,700 exhibitors and 66,000 visitors from 145 countries, and covers the entire value chain from producer to consumer.

The UK group includes companies at the forefront of innovative solutions, including ‘ECHO’, the 100 per cent plastic-free fruit pad from ECHO Bio-C, and RYPEN Technology from RYPEN, which selectively absorbs plant-ripening hormone ethylene.

Exhibiting alongside will be Richardson’s Jersey Royals, whose products are grown using liquid seaweed, lifted at the optimal time for flavour, fresh water washed, coated with coir and packed into heat-sealed moisture-retaining kraft paper packaging.

Companies who source and supply fresh produce from the UK and around the world will also be part of the British group. Primafruit works with Britain’s best-known retailers to deliver high-quality fresh fruit, while Fresh4U Products exports apples to Asia and Latin America.

“We are excited to be back with our UK exhibitor group at Fruit Logistica,” said event manager Lydia Stubbs. “Our prime location in Hall 5.2 (stand B20) always sees great footfall and delivers contacts from around the world. For growers and suppliers, our group is a must see, given the variety of companies we are hosting and the inspiration they are offering for both product and supplies”.
