The UK-based Commercial Horticultural Association (CHA), Potato Council and the Horticultural Development Company (HDC) have announced that they are collaborating with a newly expanded UK stand at Fruit Logistica this year.
As part of the new drive to promote the services, supplies and high quality produce from the UK, the three organisations will be hosting a first-ever reception at their stand on Thursday 7 February.
Visitors with an interest in seed potatoes, horticultural produce and production, services and supplies from the UK are encouraged to visit the stand at any time during the show or to the reception to meet key producers, exporters and technical experts and discuss industry developments and business requirements.
It marks the first time CHA, HDC and Potato Council have collaborated to create a coordinated UK presence at Fruit Logistica, the world's leading trade fair for the fresh fruit and vegetable business.
Both CHA and Potato Council draw on their successful presence at the event in recent years where they have been representing their respective industries, and in 2013 have joined along with HDC to create a synchronised UK stand where trade visitors can meet industry experts from all aspects of the fresh produce and horticulture industries.
All three organisations will be representing the UK industry, as well as introducing several co-exhibitors with innovative new products including cultivation and crop protection systems, breeding and research services and highest specification seed potatoes.
