Leading provider of intelligent pest management solutions, Exosect, has welcomed a new non-executive director to its board.

Exosect has announced that Professor Geoff Randall OBE will join its board and, at the same time, has promoted Dr Clare Storm to research manager & lead scientist from her original role of senior scientist.

Randall has a wide range of experience in the chemical, agrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, spanning more than 40 years. Previously the chairman of the Scientific Committee of European Centre for Ecotoxicology and Toxicology of Chemicals (ECETOC) in Brussels, Randall’s previous experience includes senior positions in R&D with ICI, Zeneca and Astra Zeneca. He will now support and expand Exosect’s current research and development programme in addition to product safety and IP programmes.

Storm is now responsible for Exosect’s research programme, managing all internal and collaborative projects and bringing forward commercially appropriate new product concepts from the R&D pipeline. Before Exosect, she worked at Rothamsted Research and gained a degree in Biological Sciences and a doctorate at University of Wales, Cardiff.

“We are delighted that Geoff Randall will be bringing his wealth of experience to Exosect - we will greatly benefit from his insight and direction and Clare Storm’s promotion is very well-deserved, given her efforts on the company’s behalf,” said Martin Brown, managing director of Exosect. “R&D is a vital part of Exosect’s business plan and I think these two appointments clearly prove our commitment to an ongoing, forward-moving development programme.”
