Packaging manufacturer Huhtamaki has designed a re-sealable salad container called the Twister bowl.
The Twister is being marketed as a viable alternative to the traditional snap on bowl lid.
The Twister bowl uses the same twist locking mechanism lid as found on bottles and jars, which keeps the contents fresh and spill-proof, the manufacturer claims.
The device includes a wide black bowl to emphasis the attractiveness of the salad and a domed clear APET lid for easy viewing of the contents.
Huhtamaki also highlights the bowl’s stacking ability and the manufacturer’s eight colour print process, which enables the lids to be customised with embossing or labelling.
